The fast-growing LHV Pank reached a significant milestone when it passed 300,000 clients. This year, more than 40,000 clients have already opened an account with LHV Pank.

According to Kadri Kiisel, the Chairman of the Management Board at LHV Pank, the basis for success lies in trust. ‘Behind every successful venture are good people. Our people, thanks to whom we have been able to grow so fast, are clients, employees, and investors. They are the three main pillars on which we can rely to build the best bank,’ Kiisel said.

She added that it is especially gratifying to see clients from all over Estonia. ‘Modern digital solutions allow us to be where our clients are. People appreciate being able to open an account, order a card, trade shares or apply for a loan on the mobile app in just minutes, regardless of their location and time. This brings us clients from all over Estonia.’

One of LHV’s key objectives has also been to promote financial literacy and educate investors. Kiisel believes that as a result of consistent work, clients interested in investing will find their way to LHV. ‘We care about the fact that our clients would be independent and smart with their money. LHV Youth Bank speaks to young people, in their own language and through their own channels, about how they should approach their finances. The Investment School makes sure that everyone gets off to a smooth start in investing. We can be extremely proud of our clients, as their interest and knowledge of financial literacy have increased significantly,’ Kiisel said.

For the past four consecutive years, the leading international economic magazine Euromoney has declared LHV Pank the best bank in Estonia. In addition, the research company Dive awarded LHV the title of the bank with the best service for the fifth time this year.

According to Kiisel, these are signs that LHV is moving in the right direction and their actions are resonating with people. ‘Today, we are still the third largest bank in daily banking in Estonia, but the combination of the best banking services, the best service, the best employees, and the best clients is the recipe for the biggest bank in Estonia.’

LHV Group is the largest domestic financial group and capital provider in Estonia. LHV Group’s key subsidiaries are LHV Pank, LHV Varahaldus, and LHV Kindlustus. LHV employs over 630 people. LHV’s banking services are used by nearly 302,000 clients, and pension funds managed by LHV have nearly 139,000 active clients. LHV’s UK branch offers banking infrastructure to 180 international financial services companies, via which LHV’s payment services reach clients around the world.
