LHV has brought the trading of Baltic shares to mobile phones

17. december 2018

Starting today, LHV mobile app users can buy and sell Baltic shares directly via the mobile app. LHV’s mobile app has been supplemented with the long awaited additional function.

Both iPhone and Android telephone users can trade Baltic shares via LHV mobile app.

‘Our clients are quite actively managing their money matters in the mobile app, since nearly 50% of everyday client traffic takes place via mobile telephone. For many years our most active clients have expressed the wish to perform share transactions via a mobile app, and now this is possible,’ said Sander Pikkel, Head of Brokerage at LHV.

‘All of life is in the process of moving to smartphones. Convenience and speed are benefits working in favour of the mobile app, and are very important when it comes to trading. Only a few movements of the finger are necessary in the mobile app to go from an idea to executing a transaction. As opposed to the internet bank, in the LHV mobile app traders will immediately see a market depth and price info graphic,’ noted Pikkel.

‘In the same way that we recommend that beginner investors start with companies on their home market, we placed Baltic companies first in mobile trading,’ said Pikkel. LHV Pank is a Baltic stock exchange market leader, and nearly two-thirds of the bank’s clients who are investors, own Baltic shares. This is why LHV brought Baltic shares to the mobile app first. The plan is to also add trading with securities on foreign markets in the future.

In addition to a client agreement, investing in Baltic shares requires the conclusion of an investment services agreement and a Baltic securities account agreement. Both can now be done conveniently and directly via the mobile app.

In addition to trading, LHV mobile app allows you to perform other necessary transactions, even if you are on the go. You can use the mobile app to make convenient payments, set the limits on your bank cards, order automatic notifications and perform other bank operations. LHV is continuously improving its mobile app, in order to offer clients the world’s best mobile bank.

LHV’s mobile app app can be downloaded from the AppStore or Google Play.
