The fast-growing LHV Pank reached a significant milestone on Midsummer’s Day when it passed 400,000 clients. This year, LHV Pank has already gained more than 22,000 new clients.
According to Kadri Kiisel, Chairman of the Management Board of LHV Pank, the key to the bank’s success is the best customer experience. ‘As a domestic bank, it is very important for us to know our clients. It all starts with the best service and experience we want to offer as a bank – understanding the needs of our clients and constantly working on new solutions to deliver the services they expect. We can see that people who have become LHV’s clients are very satisfied – this is also shown by LHV’s high recommendation index,’ said Kiisel.
She added that it is especially gratifying to see clients from all over Estonia. ‘We are very grateful to all of our clients. Statistics show that more and more people are joining us from different corners of Estonia. For example, to be even closer to our clients, we opened an LHV Pärnu branch last year. At the same time, we see that people prefer to use modern digital solutions. The ability to open an account, order a card, trade shares or apply for a loan on a mobile app, all within a few minutes, is increasingly appreciated. In order to reach our clients, regardless of where they are and what time of day it is, we are constantly upgrading our mobile app and Internet Bank,’ said Kiisel.
One of LHV’s key objectives has also been to promote financial literacy and educate investors. Kiisel believes that as a result of consistent work, clients interested in investing will find their way to LHV. ‘We care about the fact that our clients would be independent and smart with their money. Nearly 40% of our new clients are young people – LHV Youth Bank educates young people on how they should approach their finances in a language and through channels they understand. The Investment School makes sure that everyone gets off to a smooth start in investing. We can be extremely proud of our clients, as their interest and knowledge of financial literacy have increased significantly,’ Kiisel said.
The international banking magazine The Banker named LHV Pank the best bank in Estonia at the end of 2022. LHV has been awarded the same accolade for four consecutive years already. LHV was also named the bank with the best service in Estonia for the seventh time this year. For two years in a row, LHV has been selected as the company where Estonian people would most like to work in the CV-Online Estonia Top Employer survey.
According to Kiisel, these are signs that LHV is moving in the right direction and their actions are resonating with people. ‘Today, we are still the third largest bank in daily banking in Estonia, but the combination of the best banking services, the best service, the best employees, and the best clients is the recipe for the biggest bank in Estonia.’
