LHV’s UK branch moved to new London office

30.06.2021

As of today, the LHV London office is located in the newly completed Angel Court office building in London’s Bank Quarter.

Angel Court is a modern office building completed in 2017, which has won several architectural awards, including being voted the best office building in London. LHV’s office is located on the 15th floor of the building at 1 Angel Court and includes workstations for 28 people, separate meeting rooms, and all the other necessities of a modern working environment. LHV’s existing office in the White Collar Factory office building was cramped for the expanding business and LHV took the opportunity to move its London staff closer to the banking centre.

‘We are in the process of expanding our operations in London and are currently preparing to obtain a banking licence. With the outbreaks of the coronavirus that have kept our London staff working in their home offices for the past year, it is good to be back in the office when possible, and the new office provides the best conditions for this,’ Head of LHV UK Erki Kilu said.

Today, LHV provides services to 150 international payment clients in the UK, including a number of well-known global companies such as Wise, Coinbase, Paysafe, Currencycloud, and others. To provide services to the fast-growing sector, the LHV London team has nearly doubled in size this year. With the growth of the existing business and the increase in the team involved in applying for the banking licence, the LHV London team will grow significantly in the near future in terms of sales, risk management, financial management, and tech-savvy people.

LHV Group is the largest domestic financial group and capital provider in Estonia. LHV Group’s key subsidiaries are LHV Pank, LHV Varahaldus, and LHV Kindlustus. LHV employs over 590 people.
